RODS & REELS SPORTFISHING ADVENTURES

Arrive at the Aurora Airport in Guatemala City , where you will be met by Rods & Reels' driver who will
have a sign with your name on it. He will escort you to your private chauffeur driven vehicle which will
then transfer to the coast. En route you may enjoy stopping off in Antigua , the most beautiful UNESCO
world heritage site in Guatemala , to have a gourmet lunch. After lunch enjoy the most breathtaking
volcanic scenery on your way to the fabulous SAILFISH OASIS fishing Lodge on the coast.
Relax by the pool. Dinner & Drinks in the evening!

Following a delicious breakfast at 6am you will be taken to Marina Pez Vela. You will leave the dock
at 7am for a full days fishing with lunch, snacks, beer and non alcoholic beverages included. Between
4-5pm you will return to the dock to be met by your driver who will transport you back to the hotel for
Dinner & Drinks. You may want to take advantage of one of our relaxing massages.

Same as day 3. After fishing you will be taken by the Rods & Reels air-conditioned bus on a 1 ½ hour
spectacular volcano ridden drive to Antigua Guatemala , a UNESCO world heritage site.
Antigua Guatemala is an exquisite Spanish Colonial town with elegant 16th & 17th Century architecture,
cobblestone streets, tranquil central squares, stylish hotels, luxurious shops and superb international cuisine.
The town enjoys a unique and impressive setting, nestling beneath three towering volcanoes and
surrounded by lush evergreen forests.

The Santo Domingo Hotel, where you will be staying is a unique 5 ***** hotel which has been voted
“Best Central American Hotel” for 3 consecutive years . The hotel is set in the picturesque grounds of a
former convent and has 128 luxurious rooms each with minibar, cable TV, hair dryer and safety deposit box.
Other services available include restaurant, bar, laundry, shoe shine, medical services laundry, postal service,
Newspapers in specific areas, baggage storage, lost objects, ice, wake-up calls, voice mail and taxis.

After a leisurely breakfast, you will be met by our driver who will take you back to Guatemala City Airport in

OPTIONAL EXTRA DAY(s)

Catch a flight from Guatemala City airport, to Flores , where you will be met and taken to a wonderful
hotel, in the heart of the jungle. Transfer on to the Tikal National Park , a protected area some 370 square
kilometers situated on the edge of the Mayan biosphere reserve. It is home to hundreds of species including
spider monkeys, toucans and parakeets. Enjoy a guided tour of the mystical, magnificent ruins of the lost
Mayan world. After lunch, either return to the Park to investigate further, or head back to the hotel for a
leisurely afternoon by the pool. Fly back to Guatemala City .
